Kuwait- Teenager caught driving at 200 kph arrested, car seized


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A 19-year-old Kuwaiti citizen was arrested and his vehicle was seized when he was caught driving his vehicle at a speed of 200kph recently, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, when the Assistant Undersecretary for Special Security Affairs of the Ministry of Interior Lt General Sulaiman Al-Fahad was on his way to Wafra, he noticed the teenager driving the vehicle at a high speed. He immediately informed the concerned traffic authorities and provided them with information about the vehicle. The officers searched the area and found the vehicle parked in front of a restaurant in Wafra. They arrested the youth, who claimed that he was driving at a speed of 160kph. He was detained at a police station to be referred to the Traffic Court.
