(MENAFN - Arab News) King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh, in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, is going to organize a Saudi International Congress on New Frontiers in Organ Transplantation on March 4-7, 2003 at the Four Seasons hotel in Riyadh.
The conference is expected to draw participation of at least 100 renowned international speakers to discuss the most important issues emerging in the field of organ transplantation.
The congress will cover topics on organ and tissue transplantation for adults and children, including the liver, kidnies, heart, lungs, human stem cells, bones, pancreas, nerve cells, islet cells, small bowel, face and hands. The congress will highlight advanced surgical and medical techniques and a new innovative method in organ transplantation.
The scholars who are expected to participate in the meet are drawn from well-known leading research centers in the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, in addition to regional speakers from Iran, Tunisia and Egypt.
The congress will cover issues related to organ transplantation such as transplant anesthesiology, transplant nutrition, transplant imaging, transplant pharmacology, transplant pathology, transplant psychology and living donor management.
