Renault China recalls 61,508 Koleo SUVs

(MENAFN) China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine announced that Renault's Chinese subsidiary started recalling 61,508 vehicles due to issues related to fuel level sensors, reported Xinhua News. The consumer quality watchdog said that the Koleos sport utility vehicles were manufactured between December 16, 2008 and July 10, 2012. It noted that fuel level sensors in these models cannot send correct readings after long periods of use and are insecure to use. However, the French automaker will replace the malfunctioning sensors with new ones, for free.
