UAE, Argentina to boost investment


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State, and Deputy Economy Minister Axel Kicillof of Argentina, on Wednesday discussed the potential of UAE investments in the region in addition to the enormous unconventional resource potential of the Vaca Muerta in Neuquen Province. The delegation was headed by Federal Planning Minister Julio de Vido, who is visiting UAE to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation in hydrocarbons, mining, nuclear energy, agriculture fields in addition to setting mechanisms to apply agreements that were signed during the last visit of President of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez to the UAE this January. Argentine's President visited the UAE last month to boost bilateral relations through inking a number of agreements to develop the nuclear energy for peaceful purposes as well as cooperation in agriculture and air transport aspects.
