(MENAFN- Arab Times) Fire engulfed a van close to the parking lot of Kuwait Municipality garden at the Capital Governorate.
According to security sources, while Security Forces were monitoring the demonstration of the opposition lawmakers near Kuwait Municipality Garden, they noticed a van close to the garden parking lot burst out in flames.
They informed the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior and firefighters rushed to the location along with paramedics. Firefighters extinguished the fire before it spread further.
Security sources revealed that investigations are ongoing to know the cause of the fire, which they suspect is due to a short circuit.
The owner of the vehicle, an Arab national, informed securitymen that there was KD 30,000 inside the vehicle. Necessary legal action was taken.
Meanwhile, fire engulfed a Japanese-made vehicle on Seventh Ring Road due to short circuit, which resulted in only material losses. Firefighters rushed to the location and extinguished the fire before it spread further.
