Kuwait- Apply law equally on citizens, expats with due respect


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The graduation of 368 batch 26th cadet officers and batch 79th police officers was recently held inside Martyrs Hall at the General Administration Building of the Police Academy under the patronage of the Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lt General Ghazi Al-Omar. Several senior officials of the ministry including the Assistant Undersecretary for Police Training Major General Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf attended the graduation ceremony. During the ceremony, Lt General Al-Omar emphasized the ministry's determination in applying the law equally on citizens and expatriates and executing their security responsibilities on them with respect. He said the officers will take appropriate actions without aggression to ensure desirable outcome in favor of the public. Addressing the graduates, he said the duties of security operatives entail patriotism because they protect the security of the nation and the citizens, stressing, "The opportunity to learn is open to all who are interested in increasing their knowledge for succeeding in security functions". In his speech, Director of Police Academy Colonel Mohammad Al-Roumi said the fact that the ceremony coincided with the seventh anniversary of HH the Amir's succession to power is a good omen. He indicated that the presence of Lt General Al-Omar at the ceremony is a motivating factor for the new officers who will start serving the country and will become the new array of stars produced by the academy to serve the nation and fellow compatriots.
