(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Sigma Pharmaceuticals (ASX: SIP) has entered into a deal with Pharmacy Alliance that will see the opening of at least 30 new Amcal stores in 2013, with more in the pipeline.
The partnership will result in an initial 30 Pharmacy Alliance members moving into the Amcal brand, owned by Sigma â€" Australia's largest pharmacy-led network.
Since the creation of Allied Master Chemists of Australia (Amcal) in 1937, the brand's network has grown to over 300 stores.
Together, Sigma's broader Amcal, Amcal Max, Guardian Pharmacy and Pharmacy Alliance members now represent 900 pharmacies nationally.
