(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Allied Real Estate LLC and Jawad Sultan Group, which owns City Cinemas, on Sunday signed a pact on a three-screen cinema theatre at the Panaroma project underway near Muscat Oasis Residence in Bausher.
Being built by Allied Real Estate, Panorama will be a multi-purpose building having residences, offices, malls, hotels and recreation facilities under one roof. The building will also feature a 180-room five-star Hotel Millennium.
Speaking about Panorama, Tony Ward, CEO of Allied Real Estate LLC, said, ''Panorama will have everything one needs under one roof. We are going to cater both premium and luxury brands. There will be natural spots like fountains which will help to have a great eat-out experience. We want to make the place affordable for everyone.''
Along with the five-star hotel, the building will have 5,500sq m of office space and business centre and 21,000sq m for shopping, dining and lifestyle.
He said, ''We feel it's time to bring in a few surprise elements that no other building in Oman currently has. We want to bring the Dubai experience to Oman. Omanis spend millions of rials a year in UAE and we want them to invest that money into their own economy. Therefore, we need to present our customers with a facility that encourages them to stay, shop and dine in Oman. Our interior designs will be quite different and provide an enjoyable and memorable experience.''
Each hall in the movie theatre will have 200 seats. The addition of the new cinema hall will take the number of theatres owned and managed by the Jawad Sultan Group to eight.
Aqeel Jawad Sultan, the group's chairman, said, ''We are pleased to align with Allied Real Estate in this initiative because we see an optimistic future for both of us in this project.''
