Cullen Resources' Chris Ringrose to discuss Mt Eureka nickel and gold potential at "Stars in 2013" 

(MENAFN - ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Cullen Resources (ASX: CUL) will highlight the nickel and gold potential of its Mt Eureka project in Western Australia, where an airborne electromagnetic survey will be carried out this quarter.

The survey is designed to identify potential nickel sulphide targets across some 10 kilometres of untested stratigraphy in the south of Cullen's tenement.

This has received support from the recent discovery of nickel sulphides by Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) at Fisher East with ultramafics there interpreted to extend into Cullen's grounds.

Other nickel targets include AK47, where a 0.2 metre at 1.93% nickel intersection was made; the eastern rotary air blast anomaly of 11 metres at 0.86% nickel; and several VTEM and ground EM anomalies near GB15.

Gold targets include the Eureka North West mineralisation, where previous intersections of gold in conglomerate include 8 metres at 2.92 grams per tonne gold.

This conglomerate/greenstone contact is interpreted to continue for some 10 kilometres to the north and has not been tested by systematic drilling to date.

Other targets include the northern and southern extension of the Taipan shear zone where the best drill intercept has returned an assay of 22 metres at 2.1g/t gold including 6 metres at 5g/t gold.

Cullen is also proposing further testing of VTEM anomalies at its North Tuckabianna project in the Murchison Region and continues to progress its projects in Canada, Finland, Sweden and Namibia.
