(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (SBA), representing the Nissan, Infiniti and Renault brands, has announced its proud participation in this year's Muscat Festival. According to a press release, SBA will be associated with this event as a gold sponsor. The sultanate's biggest cultural and entertainment extravaganza “ Muscat Festival “ is expected to attract more than 2mn visitors.

As a part of this initiative, SBA has put up a display of its latest range of vehicles at the Muscat Festival grounds in Amerat Park and Naseem Garden. Capitalising on this month-long annual event that is designed to showcase the sultanate's rich cultural heritage as well as its modern facets, SBA has also planned for exciting events for the visitors.

Apart from fun for the family, raffle draws are planned and lucky ones can take home LCDs, Galaxy Tabs, iPhone 5 and other surprise gifts. Apart from the displays and raffle, SBA brands will offer schemes on its range of vehicles, including free registration, free insurance, six years' unlimited mileage warranty and one year/ 10,000km periodic maintenance service on its key models.

The event, which was intially trade based, has now taken the form of a cultural, social, entertainment and shopping festival that projects the rich heritage of the country and continues to draw Omani nationals as well as foreigners from various walks of life. Adding a sporting dimension to the festival in the form of Tour de Oman is a welcomed step. This will reinforce the spirit of adventure and youthfulness in the Omani society. "Muscat Festival reflects Oman's legendary history, culture and traditions attracting thousands of people from within and outside the sultanate every year," said a key spokesperson of SBA.

''We have been there to support Muscat Festival in different capacities over the last many years. Our gold sponsorship of the Muscat Festival represents Suhail Bahwan Group's enduring commitment to the strengthening of cultural and social foundation of the Omani society. As in previous years, SBA will be at the forefront of the group's participation this year too,'' he added.

Celebrating Oman's traditional arts, culture and heritage while providing people of Oman fun, adventure, excitement and entertainment, the Muscat Festival will be a great platform for SBA to deepen the emotional connect with the people in the sultanate. ''Automobile brands that SBA represents will, of course, be visible at the festival in various forms, including displays and promotions. We look forward to welcoming the visitors at the festival venues,'' added the spokesperson. Established in 2003, SBA is spread across the sultanate with 17 showrooms, 21 service centres and 35 parts outle
