(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Hussein Jassim Al Nowais, Chairman of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, has briefed in his office US Ambassador to UAE Michael H.
Corbin on the experience of the fund in spreading entrepreneurship through the financing of small and medium enterprises.
Al Nowais said during the meeting attended by the fund officials that the UAE leadership always seeks to empower citizens through enhancement of their living conditions.
He cited the directives by the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide the fund services to all emirates across the country.
Khalifa Fund addresses the need for funding and expertise by offering a number of programmes designed with specific needs.
Customised initiatives geared to specific applicants' profiles are offered to ensure generation of revenue, help integrate applicants into the wider community and to develop them into successful entrepreneurs.
