Kuwait: 2 Arrested For Alcohol Use; Overdose Kills Man 

(MENAFN - Arab Times) Two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested recently in Mutla for consumption of liquor and possession of an imported liquor bottle and one piece of hashish.

According to security sources, while Jahra securitymen were patrolling Mutla, they suspected a vehicle parked beside the road. They checked the details of the two occupants and discovered they are Kuwaiti citizens.

Detecting the smell of alcohol from them, securitymen checked the vehicle and found an imported bottle of liquor and a piece of hashish.

They were arrested and referred with the items to the Directorate General for Drug Control (DGDC) for necessary legal action against them.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old Kuwaiti citizen was arrested recently in Qurain for possession of sachets of heroin and drug-intake equipments.

According to security sources, while Mubarak Al-Kabeer securitymen were patrolling Qurain at night, they noticed a vehicle parked inside a school's parking lot. They checked the details of the driver and discovered he is a 21-year-old Kuwaiti citizen.

Sensing his disoriented state and nervousness, securitymen checked his vehicle and found sachets of heroin and drug-intake tools. He was arrested and referred with the items to DGDC for necessary legal action against him.
