(MENAFN- Arab Times) An unknown individual recently escaped arrest by running away on foot from securitymen, leaving behind 61 bottles of locally brewed liquor and one bottle of whisky inside his vehicle, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to a security source, while securitymen were patrolling in front of the Equestrian Club, they noticed the suspect driving his vehicle in a reckless manner.
When securitymen demanded him to stop, he jumped out of the vehicle and
ran away on foot. Securitymen chased him but were unable to catch him.
They checked his vehicle and found 62 bottles of liquor.
Officers from General Department for Criminal Evidences rushed to the location and lifted fingerprints.
Investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest the suspect.
