The minister told KUNA that different views are healthy, if taken in the best public interest, adding that this would lead to a boost in the productivity and diversity of the jobs at hand. Al-Saleh added that he respects and appreciates the role of lawmakers and that his hand is extended to aid achieving cooperation on realising the interests of the country and its people. "The constitution and bylaws organize the relationship between the three political branches, particularly the executive and legislative branches, amid mutual respect to the rights of each," Al-Saleh said. The minister added that he does not fear parliamentary inquiries into his role, as these queries were a tool aimed at correcting possible errors of judgement made by the government, and that these should not be taken as a threat to the minister himself.
