USD2b of food support to Iranians: Govt


(MENAFN) The administration of the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, along with the country's parliament have agreed to dedicate two billion US dollars from the National Development Fund to provide poor families with staple food coupons, reported Mehr news agency. The administration and the parliament said that coupons would reach around seventeen million nationals belonging to low-income families. It is worth mentioning that coupons would cover basic items including rce, sugar, and edible oil.
