Audi 2012 ME sales up 16% 

(MENAFN) Audi managing director, Trevor Hill, stated that the company's sales in the Middle East jumped 16 percent last year to a total of 9,155 units, reported Arabian Business.

Hill said that the German carmaker plans to focus on boosting capacities and qualities for sales and after sales service in order to achieve its regional sales target of 20,000 units a year by the end of the decade.

Sales in the UAE accounted for 41 percent of the company's total sales across the region, with the number of cars sold rising by 21.7 percent to 3,819 units.

Meanwhile, sales in Saudi Arabia jumped by 26 percent to 1,918 units, while those in Kuwait increased by 20.7 percent to 1,279 units.

It is worth noting that at the current time, Audi is the fastest growing German premium brand in the region.
