(MENAFN- Arab Times) Some ministers and undersecretaries are conniving to topple the National Assembly and government by thwarting popular decisions related to development, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting MP Mohammad Al-Jabri as saying.
In a statement, Al-Jabri said a lobby of the ministers and undersecretaries aim to portray a negative image of activities of the current parliament and its lawmakers, thus spare no effort to prevent the parliament to approve laws that serve the interests of the nation and its citizens.
Sources also said some undersecretaries and ministers affiliated to the National Labor Bloc, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Islamic Constitutional Movement try to hinder the parliamentary progress.
In another development, the State Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Minister of Municipality Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abdullah disclosed that Minister of Finance Mustapha Al-Shimali is still discussing the issue of buying the loans' interests.

Sources added HH the Amir issued directives to resolve this file so as to strengthen collaboration between the executive and legislative authorities.
Meanwhile, MP Nasser Al-Marri surprised his colleagues during Tuesday's parliamentary session when he praised First Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmad Al-Hmoud, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
He asked to withdraw his name from the list of signatories on the comments made by the Parliament during the session which was held some weeks ago to tackle the security issue in the country.
"I am sorry, Minister of Interior, for blaming you during that session because you were certain that if you mentioned anything related to the state security, it would be published by some individuals who do not respect the word secrecy," he noted.
He indicated some lawmakers have spread the news and even pictures of the session and published them on their social networking website Twitter in spite of the fact the session was termed 'secret'.
