Travel and Tour World welcomes travel trade enthusiasts at EMITT 2013, Istanbul

Scheduled to take place from 24th-27th January in Istanbul, EMITT with the support of the Turkish Republic's Culture and Tourism Department, in partnership with TUROFED (Turkey Hoteliers Federation), TYD (Tourism Investment Association), sponsored by the THY Corporation and organized by the EKIN- ITE Group, the EMITT Exhibition will be held for the fifteenth time. In 2012, the exhibition attracted 4000 participants from 60 countries and almost completely filled the available rooms at the TYAP Exhibition space. At the EMITT exhibition attended by 57,000 tourism professionals and 71,000 visitors hailing from 60 countries for a total of 128,000 people, all of Turkey's eminent travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, plus over 200 cities and hundreds of participants from 60 countries prepared for the 2012 season. The exhibition, open to tourism professionals during the first two days and open to the public during the last two, is the only exhibition in the region that, despite the economic crisis, increased 25% compared to the prior year in 2011 and 10% compared to the prior year in 2012. EMITT's continual and pleasing growth over the past 5 years encouraged the management of the exhibition space, and TYAP has already finished constructing 3 large new rooms. Now EMITT would be using those 3 new rooms in addition to the other rooms during EMITT's 2012 exhibition.
