Kuwait- Jewelry Firm Sales Rep Wins Allowances


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Administrative Court has ordered one jewelry company to pay its sales representative a sum of KD 18,000. Lawyer of the sales representative Attorney Sultan Al-Ajmi argued that his client started working for the company since Jan 1, 1997 as sales representative of gold with monthly salary of KD 650 until he was terminated without notice on Sept 15, 2011. According to the lawyer, his client was not paid his end of service benefit, in addition to allowance for holidays, overtime, traveling ticket and health insurance, besides Hajj allowance, as per labor law of private sector.
