Riyadh receives Arab leaders for economic summit


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Several Arab leaders arrived in Saudi Arabia Sunday to take part in the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, due to open on Monday. Presidents of Somalia Hasan Sheikh Mohamud, Palestine's Mahmoud Abbas, Yemen's Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi and Iraqi Vice-President Khudhair Moussa Al-Khuza'ee arrived in Riyadh. Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir and President Mohammad Morsi of Egypt arrived in the holy city of Makkah to perform mini pilgrimage (Umra) and are scheduled to arrive here later. Lebanons Prime Minister Najib Miqati and Algerian Speaker of the Council of Nation Abdulkader Bensalah also arrived for the two-day summit talks. HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is due to arrive here on Monday.
