(MENAFN - Arab Times) Attorney Mohammad Al-Ansari has filed the first case against the incumbent oil minister, demanding nullification of a decision to exclude his client from appointment to an advertised job at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Al-Ansari said his client completed a degree in law on July 31, 2011 with a grade of 85 percent. He pointed out the job advertisement published by the company stated the applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in law and diploma without specifying the field. He said his client passed all the interviews and was received as one of those who have successfully secured recruitment in the company. However, his client was shocked when her name was not on the list of new recruits and the administration of the company did not explain why her name has been left out.

According to the lawyer, he filed the lawsuit when his client discovered the grades of some of the new recruits were lower than hers.
