UAE- Man burnt to death after car crash


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A UAE national was burnt to death after a horrific car accident on Saturday - which left the car totally gutted after it caught fire. The tragedy unfolded when the victim lost control over his Range Rover, causing it to collide with a concrete barrier and signboard, before bursting into flames. The incident took place at 8am on the Dubai Bypass Road near Al Qudra Road bridge, in the direction of Sharjah, Major-General Mohammed Saif Al Zafin, Director of the General Department of Traffic of the Dubai Police said. The vehicle, which was being driven at high speed, crashed into the concrete barrier on the right hand side of the road, which caused the vehicle to jump and smash into a signboard. As the vehicle engulfed in flames after the crash, the driver was unable to escape the wreckage. Rescue teams and traffic police experts, including Sergeant Saif Al Kitbi and Corporal Ahmed Khalf, are investigating the accident scene, . The charred body of the victim was referred to the General Department of Forensic Medicine.
