Copper rises on China speculation


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Copper rose in London, rebounding from four sessions of declines, on expectations figures will show a reviving economy in China, the world's biggest consumer of the metal. Gross domestic product expanded 7.8 per cent in the fourth quarter from a year earlier, speeding up from 7.4 per cent in the prior period. C opper for delivery in three months added 0.3 per cent to $7,973 a metric tonne by 9:46 am on the London Metal Exchange.
