IAA UAE chapter elects new board


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The UAE Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) recently announced the new board of directors for the 2013-15 term. The new board is made up of 13 members, four of which hold the officer positions. Lance de Masi, president of American University in Dubai, elected the president of IAA UAE Chapter while Nassib Boueri, chief executive officer of Wunderman-Menacom Group, became vice-president of the association. Reda Raad, chief operating officer of TBWA/RAAD Mena, Douglas Palau, vice-president of Impact BBDO, will hold the positions of secretary and treasurer, respectively. The remaining nine-elected board members for the 2013-15 term are Yousef Tuqan of Flip Media; Mounir Harfouche of Lowe Middle East & North Africa; Hani Ghorayeb of AMS- Choueiri Group; Kamal Dimachkie of Leo Burnett UAE, Kuwait & Lower Gulf; Rajeev Khanna of Gulf News; Fadi Ghosn of General Motors; Marwan Kai of Media International Services Gulf; Elie Haberof Mindshare, and Ziad Hasbani of Weber Shandwick Middle East.
