(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Ahmadi police have arrested a Kuwaiti man and his Asian girlfriend while they were driving along the Coastal Road in Abu Halifa, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to security sources the man behind the wheel was asked to pull over on suspicion because the police felt the man had stepped on the gas pedal to escape from them.
Police then searched the car and found bottles of alcohol. Police also found the woman in the car had escaped from her sponsor.
They have been handed over to the authorities.
