Hospitality Equipment Fair 2013 to be held from January 19-21 

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The National Hospitality Institute (NHI) along with Najwani and Co, a supplier, importer and distributor of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, will organise a three-day Hospitality Equipment Fair from January 19 to 21. The company will display equipment of interest to chefs, hotel executives, hospitality institutions, hospitals and laundries.In addition, NHI's Gulf Chef School is hosting this year's first of four Chefs Competitions as part of the event, which will be inaugurated by H H Sayyid Tariq bin Shabib al Said. The event will also include technical conferences and workshops on food safety and equipment.Manoj Kumar, head of solutions at Najwani and Co, said, ''We are the exclusive dealers for WMF, a German brand of kitchen equipment whose products will be launched at the event along with those of CAPP, Turkey.''According to Robert Mac-Lean, principal of NHI, the demand for such equipment is on the rise as new hotels are opening across Oman. ''It is a very good opportunity to welcome people from the hospitality industry. They will get two things in one “ an array of invaluable equipment on display and a chance to participate in the chef competition.'' He added that ten teams from leading hotels will take part in the competition.
