Siemens and Majan Switchgear launch Sivacon-S8 power distribution boards 

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Siemens and Majan Switchgear on Sunday launched the Sivacon-S8 power distribution boards. The launch saw the presence of top officials from both companies. P J Joseph, general manager, Majan Switchgear, said he was proud to be a part of the launch of Sivacon-S8 and that the top management's leadership and vision, excellent team work, superior products and services, and continued support from suppliers and customers were the key factors that led to it.Markus Strohmeier, CEO, Siemens Oman, said that the sultanate's economy is growing, which has helped in further expansion of business.''Siemens is proud to have a well-established company set-up in Oman and to contribute by supplying innovative and efficient technologies to a wide range of customers.''Strohmeier said that Siemens began operations in Oman in the early 1970s, and in 2006 the company decided to form the Oman unit of Siemens AG, which helps offer efficient service and advice by experts.According to officials, Sivacon-S8 power distribution boards and motor control centres distribute and control power supply. They can be used in residential and commercial buildings, airports, oil and gas companies, water distribution companies and in the chemicals and heavy metal industry.
