India Education Meet from today 

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The India Education Interaction Meet 2013 will begin on Monday at Haffa House Hotel, Ruwi. In its seventh year, the event aims to create awareness among non-resident Indians about various educational courses and facilities offered by educational institutions in India.During the two-day event, visitors will get an opportunity to interact with academic professionals to know about educational programmes and facilities available in India. A delegation will also visit various Indian schools in Muscat and provide career counselling to students, education counsellors and parents.This event will see participation of at least 20 Indian educational institutions. The participants' profile include school education, higher education in arts and science, hotel management and catering technology, engineering, MBA, distance education, medicine and nursing, bio informatics, information technology, postgraduation and research, and other specialised programmes.All the participating institutions are affiliated to the University Grants Commission, All India Council for Technical Education and other government bodies. Entry to the event is free. Information on more than 100 courses and scholarships will be provided during the two-day event. The timing is 3.30pm to 9pm. The event is being organised by Lynx Events, Muscat and Indus Fairs and Events (India) Pvt Ltd and is held across 16 countries.
