China- Great Wall Motors' 2012 sales up 28%


(MENAFN) China's Great Wall Motors' spokesman, Shang Yugui, announced that the carmaker's sales of sport utility vehicles (SUVs), sedans and pickup trucks in 2012 grew by 20,000 from the year's target to 620,000 units, reported Xinhua News. Yugui said that overseas sales jumped 16.1 percent from a year earlier to 96,000 units. For the current year, the auto manufacturer, whose 2012 sales climbed by 28 percent from 2011, has targeted sales of 700,000 cars. It is worth noting that Great Wall Motors is located in the city of Baoding, in the northern province of Hebei.
