UAE- JIMC gets JCI accreditation 

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Constantly upgrading the standards of health services and facilities being offered in Dubai, the authorities ask healthcare facilities to pursue internationally recognised accreditation standards.

Marking a milestone for the UAE healthcare sector, Jehad International Medical Clinic (JIMC) has received the prestigious international accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI), the global leader in accrediting healthcare organisations. The clinic has achieved a score of 99.5 per cent on the assessment providing quantifiable benchmarks for patient care.

JIMC is the first standalone clinic to receive JCI accreditation in the UAE, Middle East, North Africa and India. The accreditation is a remarkable recognition of JIMC's commitment to provide quality healthcare and world-class standards of medical care.

JCI has been working with health care organisations, MOH and global organisations in over 90 countries since 1994. The system of accreditation by JCI is based on a set of standards to improve the quality of care on par with the best. Keeping pace with these standards, JIMC scored 100 per cent in 694 criteria of the 700. Overall, the clinic achieved a score of 99.5 per cent on the assessment providing quantifiable benchmarks for patient care.
