(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police are looking for an unidentified Syrian man for stealing a cell phone from a shop belonging to a Kuwaiti, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint to a police station, the Kuwaiti said the Syrian entered the shop and demanded to see an expensive cell phone.
The man then said he wanted to purchase the phone and handed his civil ID to make a photocopy as per requirements of the law.
When the Kuwaiti went to make photocopy of the civil ID, the Syrian left behind his ID and escaped.
The Kuwaiti has handed over the civil ID to the police and the serial number of the phone.
