(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police have arrested two people (a Kuwaiti and an Egyptian) and are looking for three others for robbing visitors to a public park in Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources several Arab and Asian expatriates have filed complaints with the Salmiya Police Station against armed masked men.
The sources also said in two separate incidents, the suspects robbed an Asian man inside the garden and three others snatched a handbag of a woman while she was in her car with her daughter and escaped.
The woman screamed for help and patrolmen on duty chased and arrested two men while the third escaped.
