(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Best Dealer Technician award in the annual General Motors Middle East Technician Skills Competition was presented to Gayan Perera, a service technician from Liberty Automobiles - the Cadillac and Chevrolet dealership in the UAE - at the finals held at the Dubai Autodrome.
Perera, who also excelled in last year's competition by winning second place, was presented with the award by John Stadwick, president and managing director of General Motors Middle East, at the awards ceremony held at the Hard Rock Café Dubai.
"We are proud to say that Liberty Automobiles strictly adheres to the General Motors service motto 'Fix It Right First-Time.' We are delighted that our technician Perera outperformed the best GM technicians from the Middle East region," said Duncan Peat, managing director of Liberty Automobiles.
