Texon Petroleum to add more Texas oil and gas production

(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Texon Petroleum (ASX: TXN) is poised to add further production with fracture stimulation operations continuing on its Eagle Ford wells in Texas. A 22 stage frac has been completed at the Hoskins EFS-3H well with production testing to start imminently. The company will now frac Quintanilla SMEF 1H, the seventh Texon Eagle Ford well, using the same crew with production expected to start in late January or early February pending final installation of production facilities. Quintanilla SMEF 1H was the first Joint Venture well drilled in a project where Texon joined with offset lease owners to more efficiently develop acreage held by Texon and other parties. Further work is expected on the Hoskins 4H well with fraccing and completion anticipated in February to March this year.
