Paramount Mining Corporation appoints Peter Bacchus as director


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Paramount Mining Corporation (ASX: PCP) has appointed experienced investment banker Peter Bacchus as a non-executive director. "We are delighted to appoint Mr Bacchus to the Paramount Board. He has a long association with the resources sector, including in-country experience in Indonesia," chairman Mo Munshi said. Paramount managing director Terry Holohan added: "Mr Bacchus brings a wealth of metals and mining investment banking experience at a critical stage in the Company's activities, as we continue development of the exciting Gunung Rosa gold, silver and base metals mining project." Bacchus has over 20 years' investment banking experience and is joint head of European investment banking and global head of metals and mining investment banking at U.S. investment bank Jefferies. Prior to joining Jefferies in March 2011, he was a managing director and global head of metals and mining investment banking at Morgan Stanley. He has also served as a managing director at Citigroup where he led Asia-Pacific industrials investment banking as well as co-headed global metals and mining investment banking based in Sydney, Jakarta and London.
