Iran- USD3b set for petchem projects


Deputy Director at the National Development Fund (NDF) of Iran, Ehsan Sharifi, stated that the USD3 billion would be invested in eleven petrochemical projects, reported Tehran Times. Sharifi said that USD43 billion were already allocated for the NDF. While promises from the Iranian President Ahmadinejad say that the fund's assets by the end of the coming March would be valued at USD55 billion. It is worth mentioning that a fifth of the country's oil revenues is transferred to the NDF.
