Kuwait- Police arrest Bedoun with hashish, drug pills


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Bedoun was arrested recently in Jahra for possession of hashish and narcotic pills. Reportedly, while securitymen were patrolling Jahra, they suspected a Japanese-made vehicle. They stopped the vehicle and checked the details of the driver to discover he is Bedoun. Noticing his nervousness, securitymen checked his vehicle and found hashish and narcotic pills. They also discovered he was involved in civil cases. He was arrested and referred with the items to the Directorate General for Drug Control for necessary legal action against him. Meanwhile, Ahmadi securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s for possession of narcotic pills and other intoxicants. Reportedly, the suspect tried to resist the arrest but securitymen called for backup and managed to arrest him. He was referred with the items to the Directorate General for Drug Control for necessary legal action against him. In addition, Farwaniya securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen and two GCC expatriates for possession of an imported liquor bottle while they were on their way to a camp in Kabad desert. Necessary action was taken against them and they were referred with the items to the concerned authorities.
