(MENAFN - Arab News) Castrol KSA has unveiled the improved Castrol Magnatec, a fully synthetic, specially formulated engine oil.
This has "intelligent molecules" that cling to the engine like a magnet, adding an extra layer of protection and preventing oil from draining off critical engine parts.
Castrol Magnatec protects engine parts with its intelligent molecules creating an engine that is 15 times smoother than those without.
"Damage to key components is not ideal if you want your engine to perform with maximum efficiency; Magnatec can prevent damage to these key components," says a spokesperson.
Managing Director Haitham Badaoui said: "Even if you haven't been using Castrol Magnatec in your car, the good news is that you can still take advantage of its proven protective power."
Badaoui added: The intelligent molecules have been tested on engines with significant evidence of damage from abrasion. The evidence shows quite clearly that if you switch to Castrol Magnatec you slow that wear rate dramatically."
Badaoui also said: "Castrol scientists discovered that up to 75 percent of engine wear occurs during warm-up, resulting in the engine's critical parts suffering needless damage. The breakthrough achieved is Castrol Magnatec's intelligent molecules - molecules that give oil the power to cling to critical parts even when your engine is turned off; ready to protect from the moment you turn on the key. They bond to metal surfaces in your engine, forming an extra layer of protection, dramatically reducing engine wear. Because they cling to critical engine parts, the protection is already there when you need it most - while the engine warms up."
The new Castrol Magnatec with the improved intelligent molecules is now available aacross the Kingdom.
