Oman Construction Forum to Kick Off Next January


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Oman's Ministry of Housing in conjunction with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will organize Oman Construction Forum on January 27th, 2013. The second session of the conference will focus on mega projects in vital sectors, such as tourism, health, transportation, education and housing, in addition to showcasing models for projects namely the International Medical City and Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre-Salalah, Oman News Agency reported. The three-day Forum will discuss major topics pertaining to developing this sector in the Sultanate including future projects and the timeline for construction and expansion of Salalah Airport, in addition to reviewing the International Medical City project, investment opportunities in the healthcare sector, building and repairing utilities and major infrastructure projects in educational utilities in Oman. The event will identify major real estate projects in the Sultanate and discuss the latest and upcoming business opportunities, besides the Islamic finance to infrastructure projects in the Sultanate.
