UAE- Air Arabia receives A320 aircraft


(MENAFN) Air Arabia's group CEO, Adel Ali, stated that the low cost airline received its latest A320 plane at the Airbus facility in France's Toulouse, reported Arabian Business. Ali said that the new delivery is part of an order for 44 A32o planes the UAE-based carrier has ordered in 2007. The company, which operates out of Sharjah International Airport, expects to receive 6 new planes next year. In the third quarter, the airline's net profit increased to USD61.5 million, whereas revenues jumped by 19 percent from the same quarter a year ago to USD227.54 million.
