Kuwaiti Nov oil shipments to China jump 18.9%


(MENAFN) China's General Administration of Customs stated that the country's imports of Kuwaiti crude oil climbed 18.9 percent last month from a year ago, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). It added that in the month, the country received 864,000 tons of crude oil from Kuwait, equal to nearly 211,000 barrels per day (bpd). Crude oil from the Gulf emirate accounted for 3.7 percent of China's total oil imports in November, up from 3.2 percent in 2011's same period. It is worth noting that Kuwait's crude oil shipments to China in the first 11 months of the year reached 207,000 bpd.
