(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Wild Acre Metals (ASX:WAC) has identified a new epithermal vein system near the Sambalay Chico prospect in Peru with initial assays returning 33 parts per billion gold, 3.3 grams per tonne silver and 0.23% copper.
Ground exploration located the epithermal vein float within a major drainage channel for a distance of about 500 metres, and the prospecting of this located an in situ vein about 200 metres away from the Sambalay Chico prospect.
The discovery of this vein highlights the potential for further discoveries similar to the existing Mina Tapial prospect within the Sambalay Project.
Wild Acre will conduct more on the ground exploration in the new year to better evaluate the prospect and also to identify further prospects for exploration and drilling.
Wild Acre Metails is a gold and base metal explorer with projects in Peru and the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. It recently broadened its exploration focus acquiring three projects in southern Peru.
