Kuwait''s crude oil exports to China up 18.9 percent 

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's crude oil exports to China jumped 18.9 percent in November from a year earlier to 864,000 tons, equivalent to around 211,000 barrels per day (bpd), the latest government data showed.

Kuwaiti share of Chinese crude oil imports reached 3.7 percent last month, compared to 3.2 percent the year before, according to the General Administration of Customs. In the January-November period, Kuwait's crude oil exports to the world's second-biggest energy consumer stood at 207,000 bpd.

China's overall imports of crude oil in November grew 3.0 percent year-on-year to 5.71 million bpd. Saudi Arabia remained China's top supplier with its shipments rising 9.7 percent on the year to 1.29 million bpd, followed by Angola with 734,000 bpd, down 1.9 percent. Russia became third, with imports from the country growing 5.8 percent to 485,000 bpd.

China, Iran's top oil buyer, bought 430,000 bpd oil from Iran last month, down 31.0 percent on the year, amid sanctions by the US and the EU on the Middle Eastern nation's oil sales.
