Iran's mineral output projected to go up 15%


(MENAFN) Iranian Deputy Industry Minister, Vajihollah Jafari, said that the country eyes a fifteen percent increase in the mining of minerals by the end of next March, year-on-year, reported IRNA. According to the minister, production of the current Iranian year would hit 400 million tons of minerals. Jafari added that under the under-implementation five-year development plan, the country would have extracted 570 million tons of minerals by end of 2015. It is worth mentioning that Iran's mineral reserves include 12 metal and 36 non-metal ores.
