Kuwaiti married to Egyptian woman shot, injured in Cairo 

(MENAFN - Arab Times) Kuwaiti Ambassador to Egypt Dr Rasheed Al-Hamad expressed his sorrow over an incident where a 40-year-old Kuwaiti citizen, identified as MM and married to an Egyptian woman, was shot in the neck while he was driving in Cairo, reports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Hamad said some unknown individuals in a vehicle shot him in the neck, adding that the citizen was first taken to a public hospital and then to International Medical Centre for treatment, expenses of which Kuwait will bear.

He indicated that the relevant Egyptian security sources are conducting intensive investigations to arrest the suspects, revealing that the health condition of the citizen is stable and warned Kuwaiti citizens to stay away from places of protests.
