(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Russia's Gazprom energy company has hit its record high of daily gas production "1.653 billion cubic meters", CEO of the Russian gas giant Alexei Miller told reporters after the Russia-EU summit in Brussels on Friday.
"I think that his is a very symbolic that Gazprom hits its record high of daily gas output ��" 1.653 billion cubic metros ��" just on this day," Miller was quoted by Itar-Tass as saying.
"The updated projection for our annual gas production exceeds 600 billion cubic meters a year," the Gazprom CEO said.
He considers the achievement of the record high gas production just on the day of the summit as "an exemplification that Gazprom is able to deliver to the market such amounts of natural gas, which are necessary to our consumers."
