The company said opportunities are being critically appraised and evaluated.

Verus is also reviewing all options regarding the Fausse Point oil and gas project in Louisiana after operator Golden Gate Petroleum (ASX: GGP) stepped down from the role.
This is due to the company's need to find farminee partners to take up the interests held by Golden Gate and other joint venture partners, reduce its working interest, obtain all drilling and well data and secure a suitable U.S. operator.
