Kuwait- Dentist sacked for medical error


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An unidentified dentist working for a government clinic has been reportedly suspended from work for committing a medical error, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to reports an Egyptian man visited the dentist because there was swelling in the left cheek and the doctor removed three teeth although there was nothing wrong with the teeth. When the doctor realized there was nothing wrong with the teeth, he referred the patient to the Farwaniya Hospital saying he was suffering from cancer of the mouth. An autopsy showed the diagnosis conducted by the dentist was wrong. The daily did not give more details.
