(MENAFN - Arab News) King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC) and HEC Paris, one of the key business schools in France and Europe, have signed a memorandum of understanding for training of 150 KFSH&RC employees in the development of managerial skills.
The deal was signed by the KFSH&RC executive supervisor, Qasim Al-Qasabi, and HEC Paris Academic Dean Antoine Hyafil for their respective parties, according to local media.
Commenting on the deal, Al-Qasabi said the signing of the agreement came in the framework of the care shown by KFSH&RC related to training and development of skills and capacities of its cadres - whether medical, research or administrative - to ensure smooth work progress at the required levels.
He said the deal would be reflected in quality of services provided to the patients. The deal also falls within the KFSH&RC's strategy to adopt distinguished leadership, enabling it to continue undertaking its leading role, he said.
For his part, the director of training at KFSH&RC, Abdulqadir Al-Attas, said key instructors from HEC Paris would provide training courses for 150 leaders for one year, starting from March at the KFSH&RC premises in Riyadh. The courses will acquaint the attending trainees on a variety of leadership skills such as drawing up strategies, means on how to inspire employees and maximizing exploitation of available resources, he said.
