First Gulf Businesswomen Forum to Start Sunday


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The first Gulf Businesswomen Forum is set to kick off in Muscat on Sunday . The forum is jointly organized by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the Federation of the GCC Chambers. The three-day forum will review the latest economic developments and challenges facing GCC businesswomen, and tackle means of enhancing GCC women's role in economic development and the role of education and training in enhancing their participation, state news agency ONA reported. The forum will also discuss the economic and social impacts of the woman's involvement in the labor market, economic laws and legislations and their role in strengthening women's participation. An exhibition featuring GCC women's work and leading institutions will be organized on the sidelines of the forum.
